Tips for a schedule people can actually follow

Tie each time to a daily routine the person already has, such as breakfast or the evening news, but only where the label allows. Keep the labels' own wording for food and timing instructions.

MedlinePlus notes that a pill organizer may help keep medicines organized. If you fill one, use the same schedule to do it, and do it at the same time each week.

Get the same schedule as reminders

DoseBeacon reminds at each time with one big card, and your family can see what's been reported.

Schedule template FAQ

How do I create a printable medication schedule?

Add each medicine with the time and days from its prescription label, then print or save as a PDF. The template groups everything by time of day and shows a weekly grid with space to tick each dose.

What's the difference between the large-print and compact versions?

Large print uses bigger type and one time slot per block, which suits someone reading their own schedule on the fridge. The compact version fits more onto a page for caregivers who manage several medicines.

Can the template work out a schedule for me?

No. Enter the times your prescriber or pharmacist gave you. The template never suggests times, spacing or doses. If the instructions are unclear, ask the pharmacist.
